Timo Timmerman, Dean at Wittenborg Amsterdam will step down from 1st of October 2017
“After much consideration, Timo Timmerman, founding father of Wittenborg Amsterdam, is stepping down on the 1st of October 2017. Recuperating from major surgery following a heart attack, Timo has decided against returning to the rigours of a stressful work environment for the present time. He says it is with great fondness he looks back at the establishment phase of Wittenborg Amsterdam, where enthusiastic students and talented, experienced lecturers have laid down the foundation for an international bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship, right in the business heart of the city. His special thanks go out to Carol Tarr, Gert and Thomas Meijer and Arie Staat, who have taken over his duties during his absence. It is with much regret that Timo lets go of Wittenborg Amsterdam.”

Timo Timmerman, dean Wittenborg Amsterdam, stopt per 1 oktober 2017
Note: ‘Wittenborg Amsterdam’ is the Amsterdam location of Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences (WUAS) based in the heart of Amsterdam. WUAS’ main campus, of around 650 Dutch and International students is in Apeldoorn, in the centre of the Netherlands. WUAS has also recently opened a study location in Vienna.
At its Amsterdam location, WUAS currently offers its bachelor’s in Entrepreneurial Business Administration as a double degree with the University of Brighton to over 50 Dutch and International students. Students can gain a Dutch BBA bachelor’s and a UK BSc degree.
In the coming year, WUAS plans to expand its programmes in Amsterdam to include its full-time and part-time International Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme, as well as a top-up bachelor’s in Hospitality Management and a Postgraduate Certificate programme in Teaching & Learning.”
