https://www.wittenborg.eu/eurochrie-apeldoorn-2022-opens-call-papers.htmStudents, educators, researchers and professionals from the tourism, hospitality and events industry are invited to submit papers, posters and proposals for workshops and symposiums to EuroCHRIE Apeldoorn 2022. The call is open until 20 March, 2022, and the event will be held between 24 and 27 October, 2022, with the theme “Thrive on Innovation and Entrepreneurship”. Detailed information, including the submission guidelines, can be found here.
Hosted by Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences, EuroCHRIE 2022 will be centred on the future of education and industries in the hospitality & tourism, events management and culinary arts sectors. Among other topics, the conference’s presentations, symposiums and workshops will discuss data security, robotics, self-service, artificial intelligence, block-chain, social innovation and the changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The conference will take place at the Aventus Building, in Apeldoorn, but key activities will also be livestreamed.
Wittenborg’s CEO, Maggie Feng, who is also EuroCHRIE’s Director of Conferences, pointed out that the last time this major event was held in the Netherlands was in 2010, adding that Wittenborg is proud to bring it back to the country in 2022 for its 38th edition. “It will be an amazing opportunity for hospitality and tourism researchers, educators and students based in the Netherlands. They will have the chance to get to know more about their colleagues and to shine through this international platform, showing innovative solutions and approaches to current topics. EuroCHRIE is a very inclusive organisation and a great place for researchers to get started on their careers,” she said.
