Project Week Kicks off National Student Survey for IBA students
In 2017, Wittenborg scored well in the National Student Survey, and much of the feedback given by students during and after the process was actively taken up by Wittenborg.
Especially important to Wittenborg is the section in the NSE regarding internationalisation and the support given to international students, as this is the key characteristic of the university. It is hoped, however, that students will be enthusiastic enough to fill in the whole of the 20-minute survey.
Internationalisation in the NSE
The NSE Project Week aims to introduce students to the concepts of surveys and research questionnaires, and uses the National Student Survey as an example. Students are asked to evaluate the questions and the techniques used, and finally to present their ideas on how to gain more support from international students to fill in the questionnaire.
The NSE has a significant impact on institutes standing within the rankings in Dutch higher education. In 2017, Wittenborg scored well, and although it is unclear how the NSE scores reflect in the ranking, Wittenborg was ranked 4th best small university of applied sciences in the Netherlands, and its IBA bachelor's programmes were ranked 2nd.
