New students from 14 different countries will start their studies at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences on Tuesday after the Easter holiday break.
Among them are five MBA students, including two entrepreneurs, Maike Nuyken and Marius Zürcher, who graduated at the top of their class in 2015 when they did IBAs in Economics & Management at Wittenborg. The duo, from Germany and Switzerland, have subsequently started their own consulting business 1520.
Also among the new students are 15 IBA students, 1 Pre-Master student and 5 Foundation Phase students. The group got a taste of their new study lives at Wittenborg when they were given a tour of the campus in Apeldoorn (one IBA student will study at Wittenborg’s Amsterdam campus). They also attended information sessions on work placement requirements, academic English, tutor information and other practical matters. The newbies also got to meet staff and fellow students during an informal lunch.
The group of 26 represents 14 nationalities: Vietnam, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Japan, China, Germany, Switzerland, Iran, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Liberia, India, Nepal and Russia.
