Final Year Seminars Explained
Final Year Seminars Explained
Final Year Seminars are planned throughout the year, and are seen as modules of the 3rd and 4th year IBA programme. A Final Year seminar can take place over 2 days, as a single event, with a single teacher, however it can also be a series of smaller lessons over a period of between 1 and 2 days.
- Normally seminars are held on Thursday and Fridays.
- The seminar timetable is always subject to change, as many of the teachers come from industry and the professional field, and require flexibility.
- Seminar timetable will be confirmed each Monday before the next Seminar: watch Intranet and Message boards for your tutor’s message!
- Bachelor students are also offered some Master Class seminars, for which they write IBA seminar papers.
IBA students must write 11 papers from 16 seminars – each paper is worth 2 EC’s (Credits) The seminars are divided into 7 Master Class seminars and 9 Bachelor IBA seminars. See the Seminar Planning for which Master Classes, Bachelor Students may follow.
