Wittenborg Online introduces Internalmail.

The main page has a mailbox (in the left main menu Wittenborg Online Email and Message System ) – however there can be individual mailboxes at course level – or page level. The mailboxes are kept separate, but are interlinked with links on the mail pages.

What is Internalmail?
Internalmail is a internal email system that works within Wittenborg Online itself.

Each user can have its own internal mailbox to send and receive messages from the Wittenborg Online site users.

Each user can switch on and off the ability to receive email copies of the internal mail posts.

Why shoud I use Internalmail?
* Because Moodle providers don't have to provide internet email acounts to their users.
* Beacuse if email is to be used as a tool for education there has to be a way to track the status of the messages.
* Because Internalmail provides course contextual folders.
* Because Internalmail is trully spam free

Use Internalmail when mailing to colleagues inside the Wittenborg Online system – it will reduce unnecessary server space and bandwidth usage!

To send an Internalmail all you need to know is the username of your recipients, or have them in your contact list. (Your contact lists are part of the messaging system and are integrated into the Internalmail system!
