#ICEF18 Berlin 2018 - biggest meeting of agents and educators yet
Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences (WUAS) was represented this year at ICEF Berlin by Student Registrar Santosh Aryal, who spent two days discussing the innovative international programmes at WUAS within the overall ‘Study in Holland’ context.
The Berlin workshop is ICEF’s largest and over 1000 educators, including some universities, meet with around the equivalent number of agents. Al in all Wittenborg met over 60 different agents representing more than 40 different countries.
Now 33% of WUAS students come through a study abroad agent.
Currently around 33% of WUAS students come through a study abroad agent, representing 21 different nationalities, a significant improvement on previous years. Internet recruitment is still higher at 47% in 2018 so far, and representing 47 different countries.
Study in Holland as a concept was generally well known months the agents spoken to, and a further increase in interest to stay in the Netherlands is prevelent, however some countries such as Turkey, Iran, Nigeria and Russia report currency fluctuations to be the biggest factor stopping more students signing up.
