Final Year and Postgraduate students last week attended a day’s workshop and seminar on Negotiation, presented by Karl Kouwen, an experienced international sales manager. The seminar focused on practical cases of how negotiation skills and techniques are essential to international business success and introduced students to the concept of psychology in business.
The seminar participants were asked to look at their own abilities and skills in negotiation, and challenged to test them by assuming roles in the case studies presented.
What was good about this seminar is that the lecturer gave the audience not just “dry theory” from books but also used up to date cases from his own recent business experience”- Nataliia, Final Year Business School Student.
