Wittenborg Graduates March 2010
Wittenborg Business School Graduates further their careers
Two new graduates have been awarded degrees in a special March ceremony at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences, which was attended by members of the board Mrs Feng and Mr Birdsall. Maggie Feng gave a speech to congratulate the paid, reflecting on their achievement. Both Mr Visvananth (Sri Lanka) and Mr Khan (Bangladesh) will continue their careers in Europe. The ceremony was also attended by fifty final year students and faculty staff.
Mr Visananth will start a knowledge workers search year programme, which is made possible under new regulations of the Netherlands Government allowing business school graduates to apply for positions at companies in the Netherlands, during which time they are legally allowed to remain in the country and work.
Mr Khan has been given a prestigious scholarship by Erasmus University to enable him to join a multinational programme, which also includes periods of study in Belgium and Spain.
During the ceremony Chairman Peter Birdsall briefed students on the future of development of Wittenborg as a Business School, a Netherlands Business University, and the further development of its status as a special Hogeschool in the region. Students were informed of important developments that will be announced at the end of next week.
