First “Apeldoorn Campus” group of graduates!
Recently, Wittenborg University awarded the first “Apeldoorn Campus” group of graduates their International Business Administration Bachelor degree, in an international ceremony held at the Business School in Apeldoorn. Wittenborg University moved into its new campus in July 2010. These students completed the Bachelor degree in International Business Administration, , with one graduate from Nepal also having completed the Postgraduate IBA programme.
The Bachelor graduates, from Thailand, Vietnam, China, Nepal, and the Ukraine enjoyed a formal ceremony attended by friends and relations, with a chance to reflect and socialize at the reception afterwards, on their achievements in the tough, English-taught IBA programme.
A number of the graduates are planning to remain in the Netherlands and have found employment within international companies under the skilled migrant employee regulation; however the majority of students will leave the Netherlands to continue their careers abroad.
Pictured left, Roobeah Songsiri (23) from Thailand, who specialized in Economics and Management student, came to the Netherlands for her business studies on a full scholarship from the Thai government and will return to her home country to work for the Siam Commercial Bank in Bangkok, taking with her fond memories of her 4 years in Holland.
Graduate Khoi Tran (24) from Vietnam, specialized in Hospitality and Tourism, will leave the Netherlands for an internship in New Zealand at the Marriot Hotel Chain, before continuing his Master studies at the University in Melbourne, Australia. Both students started their studies at Wittenborg University in Deventer in 2007, moving their studies to the new Business School campus in Apeldoorn (Netherlands) in 2010.
